Thermal Properties

 All hard-sided coolers are pressure injected with up to two inches of polyurethane foam.  Ice retention-Grizzly Coolers aren’t only protective against the animals in the wilderness; they are protective against the heat of the sun as well.

The coolers have gone through extensive testing to make sure they hold ice the longest, and in the most extreme conditions. Each of the Grizzly Coolers has been fully tested for ice retention.  Grizzly believes the products exceed the levels set by other coolers. If you need a cooler that will keep things cold for long journeys, the extended trips, and those intensely heated adventures, then Grizzly Coolers are the ones you need.  Testing Process consists of a 90 degree climate controlled room and the cooler is filled with cubed ice. The cooler is opened twice a day to monitor the ice levels, frequency is increased as the ice is closer to being melted. 

       

 Hard-side coolers are IGBC certified.

The Coolers are put through strict IGBC Bear Resistance testing to make sure that your products are kept safe, and animals are kept safe as well. When bears and other animals tear into and eat out of coolers, what they ingest can be harmful to them, and even kill them. It is of the utmost importance that your items and the animal are kept safe from harm. All Grizzly Coolers have been tested and certified by the IGBC, and provide optimum safety, durability, and performance, even under the most extreme conditions.

       

Rotomolded 

The coolers are made from rotation-ally-molded LLDPE plastic and are designed to achieve even wall thicknesses for optimal durability.

Integrated Hinge

 The hinge is built with integrated interlocking design to withstand the    toughest situations.

2″ Drain

 The 2” Drain allows for quick and complete draining of your cooler.

Locking System 

Each hard-side cooler comes with two lock holes to keep your cooler secure and your contents safe.

Dry Ice Compatible

The coolers are dry ice compatible.

Silicone Rubber Gasket

The lids seal with a silicone rubber gasket to keep cold air trapped extending the longevity of your ice.

Grip/Slick Feet

Grip Feet prevent your cooler from sliding, or attach the Slick Feet (included) for easy mobility.

2″ Tiedown Slots

Each cooler comes with  2″ tie-down slots to help keep your cooler secure in your truck, boat or UTV.
